Andrea Bruno first learned about the Alexander Technique in 1975. Returning to the practice more formally in 2007, she began her studies to teach with The Philadelphia School for the Alexander Technique. In 2015, she founded a program for the technique within the Veterans Administration and is now part of an expanding program in alternative practices for veterans with chronic pain.
Her personal practices include meditation and yoga for more than 40 years and her continuing education includes the completion of a 3-year program at the PA Gestalt Center for Psychotherapy and Training in 2018. She is a professional amateur flutist, visual artist, an avid whitewater kayaker, and a downhill skier. You can study with Andrea at her home office in Swarthmore, PA.
